Ok so I have been neglecting my blog. But last nite I had an a-ha moment! I'm going to start blogging about my chronic daily headaches & migraines.

I remember one of my favorite mini-series Anne of Green Gables based on books by Lucy Maude Montgomery, it was Anne of Green Gables, the Sequel, Gilbert told Anne to write about something you know & she stopped writing about romance & wrote a book about Avonlea and guess what? It was a success.

Anyway I digress, I'll write about what I know, what works for me for migraines/headaches, how to tell the difference between migraines & sinus headaches, etc. I hope the insight & info I provide will be helpful to at least one person.

So join me on my journey!

I made a promise to myself that I will try to better today than I was the day before. I think we make the mistake of trying to change too much at one time instead of taking it slow, one step at a time. I know for me that's where I fall short.

Yesterday I made sure I spent time with God, I spent 15mins reading the Bible, and 5 minutes in prayer. I am working on getting my weight up in prayer, LOL.

I'm just getting used to this blogging thing so please excuse the rambling while I find my voice and get more comfortable with this.

Ok, time to get back to work.

Happy New Year

I've never really set any firm New Year's resolutions in the past because I knew I would never be able to follow them.

This year is different. I read an amazing, short and simple book last week called, The Simple Life, A guide to get closer to God. Once I completed the book I realized that I had found what I was looking for! My New Year's resolution is to have a closer relationship to God.

So join me as I strive each day to follow 4 simple factors:Clarity, Movement, Alignment and Focus.

Mission statement to come later today.

Happy New Year!

My Intro

Hello my name is Kimberly and I am a 36 year old wife & mother from Atlanta, Ga. My husband and I have been married for 11 years. We are high school sweethearts and have known each other for 20 years. We have 3 children, a 16yr old son, 9yr old daughter and a 2 1/2 son.

I am so glad I found this blog, I have been looking for guidance on how to be Proverbs 31 woman and wife. I just so happened to pull up the Christian women mag online because I wanted to check out what was new with Candace Cameron Bure and saw this blog listed towards the bottom.

After years of trying to find out what is missing in my life, I have finally figured it out. My relationship with Christ is what was missing so I am on a mission to get to know Him and make Him 1st in my life. It was been a long time coming and I can tell already what a difference His presence has made in my life. I have to give credit to my wonderful husband who encouraged me to seek Him 1st.

So bare with me my sisters in Christ as I am a baby Christian, seeking to learn all I can and be better than I was the day before.
